NASA creates an entire playlist to help wake up its sleeping Mars rover


Since in the space there is no indication of NASA’s Opportunity rover, in spite of the dying down residue storm on the Red Planet, Nasa prepared a playlist to help the rover in waking up.

NASA engineers have made a whole playlist to welcome the sleeping Opportunity rover on Mars that has survived the storm, however, is yet to switch back on after it sent to an asleep mode because of no battery source.

This whole procedure is done to wake up the rover from the deep sleep, the member of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) are using this playlist in the control room.

An engineer at NASA’s JPL, Micheal Staab Stated

” we use to play the whole playlist until she wakes up and talks to us I might take a week”

He also added

” I wish we had something new to share with you, but unfortunately we don’t.”

In the Playlist, there are 18 songs named ” Wake me up before you go” sang by Wham!, David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’ and ‘Life on Mars.’‘Here Comes The Sun’ by The Beatles, ‘Rocket Man’ by Elton John and more.

Reported by they stated, ” the team not only play this song list they do an old trick with the rover, for example back in 2004, Martian rover also had to sleep, and they use to wake up at the some Woodie Guthrie’s ‘Riding in my Car.”

However, the team has not told anything about the timing of the opportunity hover wake up or sleep
